LRA Internship Opportunities

Research Internship
LRA is looking for motivated and skilled interns to assist in all aspects of major research, publication and web projects as they relate to our general programs and campaigns. Research internships with LRA offer a unique opportunity for students interested in workers’ rights, the economy and social justice. Interns will develop excellent research skills and gain hands-on experience in campaign and organizational development. Interns should have excellent writing, research and communication skills. Commitment to social justice is a must. Interns should be well organized and comfortable working independently. Good computer skills and strong internet research skills are a must.

Film Internship
LRA is looking for motivated and skilled interns to assist in the production and editing of films as they relate to our general programs and campaigns. A film internship with LRA offers a unique opportunity for students interested in workers’ rights, film and photography. Interns should have good communication skills, basic film editing skills and be proficient in iMovie or similar programs. Interns should be well organized and comfortable working independently. Commitment to social justice is a must.



Scheduling for internships is flexible, but a minimum of 10-15 hours per week is expected. Internships are unpaid, but reasonable travel reimbursement can be negotiated. A semester-long commitment is preferred.
