Well, it looks like the propositions in California are going down to defeat–though something could shift between now and Election Day. According to a new Field Poll, all four of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ballot initiatives appear to be headed for defeat, including Prop 75 which was directly aimed at crippling the labor movement’s political operations.

Making this even sweeter, part of the reason the propositions are losing is precisely because Schwarzenegger is behind the proposals. I know from friends out there that people are pissed that he is spending millions of dollars on a special election. Hopefully, his popularity, now at an all-time low, continues to languish so he can be booted out of office next year.
