Hmmm…this controversy about the FBI raid on Rep. William Jefferson’s office has now kept going for a third day. Thought it’s an interesting debate, this can’t be what the Democrats want–a focus on a raid on a Democrat who may be guilty of bribery. As I have said for many weeks, the Democrats are not going to do as well as everyone thinks until the party actually has a vision and a plan–not an electoral strategy based on “we’re not the other guys who are corrupt” because of Exhibit #1 Mr. Jefferson…even if he is found to be clean as snow, this will linger for some time…
