Earlier in the week, I reported that a number of unions, including SEIU, were helping an independent candidate, Bill Scheurer, who is running against Melissa Bean, one of the CAFTA 15. The Government Affairs folks at SEIU say the union isn’t doing anything to assist Scheurer but because of my post, the union was getting questions from The Hill. Okay, so, nice to know The Hill denizens are watching us. And we stand corrected!
