I was trying to figure out why, when going to my usual political sites to catch up on the latest, I yawned and found my attention wandering. And there it was: I’m just dead bored by this. Which isn’t to say the election doesn’t matter.

There isn’t really anything new to think about. Everyone says the same things. No new ideas are out there. I never had patience for the laziness of the transcribers of press releases (formerly known as “journalists”) whose knowledge about actual, well, economics is below zero. But, it’s just gotten really more stupid than ever before.

Which, of course, doesn’t mean I’m arguing that the election doesn’t matter. It does. The crazies cannot take over.

But, it’s still really boring.
