The problem with Chuck Schumer’s criticism of the focus on health care is that he doesn’t really focus on the main problem. Not surprising because a man who never saw a Wall Street check he didn’t like wouldn’t understand.

Schumer said:

“Unfortunately, Democrats blew the opportunity the American people gave them,” Mr. Schumer said, according to his prepared remarks. “We took their mandate and put all of our focus on the wrong problem —health care reform”

But, the problem was not the focus on health care. It was that the president gave a hand out to the insurance and drug industries to the tune of tens of billions of dollars, and did not kill those industries.

Why would people not be angry?
