I’ll put up more reporting from the Change To Win Coalition rally in a bit. But, first, tomorrow SEIU is going to announce it’s disaffilating from the AFL-CIO. There is a press conference scheduled for tomorrow. Andy Stern said that the union will make its final determination over the next few hours and make an announcement tomorrow. They are out the door.

Interestingly, the Teamsters will also make an announcement tomorrow. Jim Hoffa said he would be talking with his executive board between now and tomorrow. I do not think the Teamsters will leave tomorrow–but it may not be long for them or, for that matter, the UFCW and UNITE HERE. As one insider told me, “it’s easy for the first to go but once the second one goes, it makes it easier for the third and fourth one.”
