Just caught this on CNN ticker:
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters plans to endorse Sen. Barack Obama for president, two Democratic sources tell CNN.
Obama is scheduled to meet with Teamster President James Hoffa in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, according to The Associated Press.
The union is expected to announce its endorsement soon after the meeting, AP reported
Coupled with the endorsements by SEIU and the UFCW, I don’t see how the nomination is now, for all intents and purposes, locked up for Obama. I’m not saying that the race is going to be over in terms of it being a competition to the convention but major unions are smelling the blood in the water and they are jumping quickly and they both have many superdelegates to influence…so…
