Like most of you’all, I’m preparing to go off and stuff my face with way too much food, pies and alcohol–maybe the one advantage I have is that I don’t have to do all this in the usual dysfunctional family settings…my good friend Laura Flanders is packing her place with a wild pack of friends (so she claims…it won’t be for the faint of heart).

    But, just to think ahead, there will be a labor rally in New York City to support the Writers Guild of America strikers: Tuesday, Nov 27th, Washington Square Park, Noon to 1p.m.

    Be there. Bring a lot of friends. Bring your left-overs from Thanksgiving…um…well, maybe not…
