Wal-Mart: The Movie

For some time, I’ve known about the secret film about Wal-Mart that the video warrior Robert Greenwald is putting together. He asked that people keep it under wraps so that he could try to rustle up some Wal-Mart workers to talk on camera before the company disappeared them…okay, Wal-Mart hasn’t, as far I know, gone the route of rubbing out its critics but…

Now, Greenwald lifts the veil of secrecy (maybe this is a Deep Throat influence), revealing what’s up with the film in today’s New York Times (registration required). I know Bob and his crew are looking for current and former Wal-Mart workers so, if you’re one of them and you’re reading this, go to the movie’s website or, if you feel more comfortable, e-mail me.

And, heck, if you’re inclined to, making a small donation to finishing the film would be worth the return. You can do that at the website, too.
