Yup, the “rebels” press conference is scheduled for less than one hour from now–1:30 Vegas local time. I’ll post as much of the content as possible as fast as possible.

Saw Andy Stern (SEIU) and Bruce Raynor (UNITE-HERE) breaking bread this morning with UAW president Ron Gettlefinger at the Bally’s hotel Sidewalk Cafe. Interesting because UAW has been pretty quiet in this debate, issuing its own position paper late into the discussion and without much influence. I know the UAW has never been thrilled by the AFL-CIO in terms of what the UAW got for the millions of dollars in per capita paid.

Also heard that the Chicago Fed and Illlinois State Fed chartered a private plane to fly its entire executive board to Vegas. I dunno but seems like an odd way to spend members’ dues.
