Oh, you know, these guys continue to be stupid. Yesterday, I reluctantly watched "60 Minutes" because I was curious what Fed Chair Ben Bernanke had to say. Frankly, it was pretty boring…a la Bernanke is mad at AIG yada yada…
And this was the only thing that made my hair stand on end when Scott Pelley asked this:
"Unemployment, as we sit here, is about 8.1 percent. I wonder, do you expect double digit unemployment?" Pelley asked.
No, unemployment is already in double-digits, you dope. If your researchers had an ounce of understanding about the economy, they would know that they should include the more than million workers who have given up looking for work because they can’t find decent full-paying work. Unemployment already is in the double digits.
