A little insight into the world of Verizon, the company attacking its workers not because it has to from a financial point of view but just because of greed. People need to make some connections. For example:

Despite earning over $32.5 billion over the last 3 years, Verizon not only paid nothing in corporate income taxes, it actually received nearly $1 billion (the same amount as the concessions they are seeking) in tax benefits from the federal government during that time.

   Well, now, how the heck did that happen? Well, in part, because the Democratic Campaign Congressional Committee was feted at a fundraiser sponsored by Jones Day, one of the planet’s largest corporate law firms. Among Jones Day’s long-term clients: Verizon!!!

   The corruption is right there if we just look.
