I was going to write about the UAW picking GM as a target but, then, I gagged on my morning newspaper. If you pick up The New York Times this morning (I’ve got the national edition as I’m on the road) there is a picture of a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery where three soldiers were buried. The caption says that the three died in a bombing in Baghdad and:
WERE BURIED IN ONE COFFIN BECAUSE THEIR REMAINS WERE COMBINED IN THE ATTACK
Obviously, that is my emphasis. Parents of these three–I’m going to assume that one or all of them were 20 or 21 or 22-years old which seems to be the usual rough age listed in the casualty lists that appear every day in the paper–can’t even get a whole body back to bury. If you read that after having listened last night to that m-fucking president play political games with the lives of more Americans and Iraqis and you don’t feel the rage build up and the desire to wrap your hands around the throat of that bastard in The White House, then, you aren’t human.
